Credit where credit is due, this typeface was inspired by the 1820 classic "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" by Washington Irving (free read on Project Gutenberg). The typeface was meant to feel 200 years old and 2 hours old at the same time. To call it "timeless" would be cliche, and a bit conceited, but there's a classic, old world feel to Ichabod that I'm very happy to share. It’s comfortable on faux wood, shiny beer bottles, or your laserjet paper.
