This typeface comes from a desire to create wide, slab-serif letters; a skinny alter-ego to my Postino (an Adobe typeface) but also a gentle homage to Herbert Matter's New Haven logotype. The inclusion of unorthodox shapes amongst them was felt to be important, as was an emphasis on the horizontal.

Should there be an italic? A bold? Ligatures? You tell me.
