Jutlandia Slab is made for straightforward functional typographic design. Its design is rooted in clarity and legibility which is historically a part of the slab serif tradition. The unpretentious, yet sturdy and functional visual expression of the regular form, and the subtle bold and italic forms is an homage to Jutland – the Cimbrian Peninsula of Denmark and my birthplace.
